The Tischler Biopsy Forceps is a specialized gynecological instrument designed to obtain precise tissue samples from the cervix during diagnostic procedures. It is most commonly used during colposcopy where small cervical tissue samples are required for histological analysis. The instrument features interfitting oval cup jaws with a single lower tooth that grips and secures the tissue firmly before the sample is taken. A built-in thumb lock mechanism holds the jaws closed and retains the tissue sample securely as the instrument is withdrawn from the cervical canal.

The Tischler Biopsy Forceps features interfitting oval cup jaws that punch a clean and precise tissue sample from the cervical surface. The single lower tooth on the jaw prevents the tissue from slipping during the biopsy which ensures a consistent and complete sample is obtained every time. The standard bite size of 3mm x 7mm produces a uniform oval tissue sample suitable for accurate histological examination.

The built-in thumb lock mechanism secures the jaws in the closed position once the tissue sample is taken. This prevents the sample from being lost as the instrument is carefully withdrawn from the cervical canal. The double leaf spring design allows the jaws to open and close smoothly with minimal effort which gives the clinician full control throughout the biopsy procedure.

A Baby Tischler variant is also available with a smaller 2mm x 4mm bite for patients where a standard bite size would be too large. A Roto-Fit variant is also available where the cup jaws rotate to allow better access to tissue at difficult angles within the cervical canal.

Manufactured from premium grade surgical stainless steel with a satin finish. Fully autoclave compatible for repeated sterilization and long term clinical use.
