The Stille Dissecting Scissors features beveled blades that are precision ground to cut through tissue cleanly and efficiently. The blade geometry distributes cutting force evenly along the full length of the edge which allows the surgeon to work through skin, fascia, connective tissue and sutures without excessive effort or drag on surrounding tissue.
The instrument is notably light in weight compared to standard dissecting scissors of the same class. This reduced weight combined with the well balanced design of the instrument means the surgeon experiences significantly less hand and forearm fatigue during lengthy procedures. The refined balance of the instrument allows it to feel like a natural extension of the hand throughout the operation.
The straight blade configuration is suited for dissection on superficial and clearly visible tissue planes. The curved blade configuration allows the surgeon to navigate around anatomical structures and access deeper tissue layers with improved visibility and control. A Supercut variant is also available which provides superior cutting performance on tougher and more resistant tissue. A Tungsten Carbide variant is also available for extended edge retention and longer service life across repeated sterilization cycles.
The ring handles are ergonomically proportioned to provide a firm and comfortable grip that remains consistent throughout the procedure. The removable joint screw design of the instrument allows for thorough cleaning inside the joint during servicing which supports long term hygiene and instrument performance.
Manufactured from premium grade surgical stainless steel with a refined satin finish. Fully autoclave compatible for repeated sterilization and long term clinical use.
