The Schroeder Tenaculum Forceps features sharp pointed prong tips that pierce and grip the cervix or uterine tissue firmly at a 90 degree inward angle. This secure grip allows the surgeon to mobilize and stabilize the uterus throughout the procedure without the risk of slippage. The instrument is available in single prong and multiple prong variants to suit different tissue densities and procedural requirements.

The ratchet locking mechanism secures the jaws in position once tissue is grasped which frees the surgeon to work with other instruments simultaneously. The long straight shanks provide reliable reach into deep pelvic and abdominal surgical sites which makes the instrument well suited for both open and vaginal gynecological procedures.

The instrument is available in straight and curved tip configurations to accommodate different access angles and procedural needs.
