Kelly Scissors

The Kelly Scissors features sharp pointed tips paired with short, refined blades specifically designed to perform precise and clean dissection of soft tissues, delicate membranes, fascia and sutures in both general and gynecological surgical settings. The innovative working end maximizes cutting accuracy at the point of contact while minimizing disruption to surrounding tissue structures.

The beveled blade edges of the Kelly Scissors produce clean, well-defined dissection planes with minimal cutting effort. This blade geometry concentrates force along a fine edge, allowing the instrument to glide through tissue smoothly and consistently without unnecessary traction or tearing. The result is a minimally traumatic incision that preserves tissue integrity throughout the procedure.

The long shanks of the instrument are a defining design feature, purpose built to provide the surgeon with deep and unobstructed reach into body cavities, oral spaces and other anatomically confined surgical sites. This extended shank to blade ratio ensures the cutting action remains controlled even when working at depth.

The Kelly Scissors is available in straight, curved and angled on side shank variants to accommodate the full range of clinical dissection requirements. A Tungsten Carbide variant is also available, incorporating TC inserts bonded to surgical grade stainless steel for enhanced edge retention and longer lasting cutting performance. Tungsten Carbide models are identified by gold colored finger ring handles for immediate visual identification at the surgical tray.

Manufactured from premium grade German surgical stainless steel with a satin finish to reduce intraoperative glare. Fully autoclave compatible for repeated sterilization and long-term clinical reuse.
